Filecoin Testnet Phase 2 is here!
Six months ago, we launched the first phase of the Filecoin testnet. Since then, we have been bug fixing, conducting protocol reviews, making critical protocol and product improvements, performing optimizations, and working towards running networks with multiple interoperable nodes. On Thursday, May 14, we launched Testnet Phase 2, the last major milestone before mainnet launch! Here’s a look at what it offers.

Introducing Filecoin Discover
Filecoin Discover, which debuted on May 7, is a project to help seed Filecoin as the home for humanity’s most important datasets and make it accessible to others, to grow our knowledge base and forge new ideas. Learn more about the program and how to mine on Filecoin Discover on our blog.
Participate in our AMA
On Monday, May 18, at 7 PM PST, we’re hosting a live Q&A with Juan Benet, founder of the Filecoin Project.
