Announcing the launch of go-filecoin alphanet

This week, we launched the go-filecoin alphanet. It integrates a number of significant protocol features, but one of the most important is that it is a long-running network. Earlier this year we launched our first development networks (devnets) and now with the alphanet launch, we have implemented much of the functionality for seamless network upgrades, preventing us from having to trigger a hard network reset. Learn more about the go-filecoin alphanet on the Filecoin blog.
