To protect the Filecoin community against scams and attacks, we have invested heavily in operational and protocol security. As we prepare for mainnet launch, we encourage everyone to be on heightened alert against scams and attacks.
Here are some reminders and best practices that we encourage you to adopt:
We will never ask you for your private keys.
Protect yourself by using strong, unique passwords and multi-factor authentication.
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is! Verify suspicious information via multiple trusted channels before proceeding.
