Crypto transaction fees, wallets, and more
A few reminders before the Filecoin Token Sale begins:
Check for crypto transaction fees
For some wallets, transaction fees are deducted from the payment amount you enter. If this happens, your payment will be short by the transaction fee.
After you pay, stay on the payment page until your payment fully confirms. If you are short by the transaction fee, you can fix this by making a second payment for the remaining amount. Otherwise, your investment will show as “Awaiting Payment” and remain incomplete.
Ensure that your wallet has sent the payment
Some wallets hold payments, especially large ones, for extra minutes or hours before sending. This can cause your payment to arrive much later than intended, and potentially confirm at a higher price.
Remember that your investment, and its price, only confirm after full payment has arrived. If your payment has not arrived by the time the price is too high for your investment decision, you may cancel the investment from the CoinList payment page.
Watch Twitter for emergency updates
Any emergency updates, if needed, will be made @MineFilecoin on Twitter. In case of a CoinList service outage during First Hour Averaging, the hour timer will be paused. Service will resume with the remaining time.
