Mainnet Ignition & Liftoff
The Filecoin Mainnet Liftoff is approaching! Our phased launch plan is described in this recent blog post. We are currently on Mainnet Ignition -- a period for onboarding storage, clients, custodians, and more. The Filecoin mainnet will officially begin around Oct 15. After a few quiet days, we will hold Filecoin Mainnet Liftoff week: a week of events from October 19-23 celebrating Filecoin’s mainnet launch. Thank you so much for helping us reach this exciting milestone!
Claiming your Filecoin tokens -- authorizing SAFT Delivery
Ahead of the big moment, we are now processing SAFT deliveries in advance of when SAFT tokens will begin vesting on Oct. 15. We already have custodian preferences as provided to CoinList. We now need to transfer your tokens to your custodian and complete the SAFT. In order to receive your tokens, you need to login to this Filecoin SAFT Portal and authorize the SAFT delivery. As part of this process, you will need to verify your identity with a valid form of identification.

We need you to complete this authorization process by Oct 8 in order to ensure delivery to your preferred custodian before Oct 15. We will process deliveries as we receive authorizations.
After we receive your authorization, we will transfer your tokens to your custodian. This will take a few days, as we are processing thousands of transfers with several custodians. We will email you again once the transfer is complete.
